Cascara Sagrada is a deciduous tree found throughout the northern United States. The bark is harvested in quills and aged for at least one year.

Directions

To prepare as a tea, add 1 tsp. of herb to 8 oz. water in a pot. Cover and simmer for 15-30 minutes, strain and serve immediately.

Not for use in persons with intestinal obstruction, abdominal pain of unknown origin, or any inflammatory condition of the intestines. Not for use in excess of 8 consecutive days.
